Northampton School for Boys Redevelopment

The scheme accommodates an additional 450 students in addition to resolving existing campus congestion and accessibility problems to existing buildings.

17 classrooms, a 6th form centre and academic offices are arranged around a new concourse and refectory, attached to the existing historic school buildings. The design uses internal balconies, bridges & pods to provide an animated venue for teaching, social and performance spaces.

The scheme also included the construction of a new Health & Fitness Suite, external sports changing rooms and extensive refurbishment programme for the existing school.

Construction was phased and designed to proceed without disruption to the operation of the occupied school.
