Rugby Gateway

Client: Roxhill Developments: Segro

Rugby Gateway Logistics park contains 5 buildings totalling 1,213,000sqft developed by Roxhill Developments and Segro over two years. The steep site was split into two plateaus, separated by a retained wood and new landscaping. The first facility completed was for occupier H&M, consisting of 225,000sqft warehouse and 12,000sqft ancillary offices. Other occupiers include 237,000sqft for DHL and 269,000sqft for Hermes, whose building is bespoke and features 180 dock levellers. The buildings generally have a 12.5m clear haunch height and are predominantly built of trapezoidal built-up cladding, banded in colours which are progressively lighter towards the skyline . This horizontal banding is punctuated by vertical features at corners, and offset by formal offices set in front, making a striking addition to the entrance into Rugby from the M6 motorway.
