FAAM, Cranfield University

Client: Cranfield University

Completion mid 2016

The new¬†academic offices¬†infill a corner at the North entrance to the campus, and is attached to an existing building. The first floor accommodates FAAM (Facility for Atmospheric Airborne Measurement) and the office design reflects the occupant’s interest in the sky, with several roof windows and access to a balcony and the roof- where FAAM can locate instruments. The roof access via the corner stair forms a significant marker at this campus location.
